(Frequently Asked Questions)

FAQs

Q: What are the costs of your services?
A: Please refer to our pricing page. Everything is a la carte so that you can customize your very own wedding photography package just how you would like it.

Q: Is there a consultation charge?
A: There is no consultation fee.

Q: Is a retainer required for your services?
A: Yes, your retainer fee of $1000 is required to hold your wedding date. We only shoot one wedding a day so our time is flexible. The retainer is non refundable due to the fact that we only book one wedding a day and pass on other clients since we have locked down your date.

Q: When should I reserve my date?
A: As soon as possible after you have set the wedding date and location. Please remember that spring, summer, and fall are busy periods.

Q: How many photographs will be taken.
A: Unlimited

Q: What type of photographs do you take?
A: We take spontaneous photographs of events as they happen in a candid - photojournalistic style. Semi formal shots (posed shots in existing light or off camera flash) will also be taken of important people in your life at your request. Please don't hesitate to make special requests.

Q: Who keeps the original images?
A: We do and you can! We offer a high resolution disc of images for purchase on our products page. We create backups of all of your wedding images on dvd and external hard drives both on and off location. You can always purchase prints through our online print services.

Q: Our church doesn't allow flash during the ceremony. Is that a problem?
A: No. Our digital cameras adjust for low light situations on the fly. We find out the rules of the church and follow them.

Q: How long before I get to see my photographs?
A: You will see all of your images online in about 1.5 to 2 weeks after your wedding date. If you have chosen a custom designed wedding album as part of your package, you will see a rough, pre-designed version in about 2 weeks.

Q: What kind of camera's do you use?
A: We shoot with several high resolution Nikon DSLR camera bodies. We use only professional grade lenses and equipment. These camera's enable us to shoot in various lighting conditions without having to use flash or switch to "film" speeds. They produce high quality digital images.
