I had a great time photographing Keith and Jenni’s wedding a few weeks ago at The Lakehouse at Bulow just outside of Charleston in the Red Top area. A beautiful evening with a great couple to photograph!

What a beautiful wedding out on Johns Island for Kathryn and Adam at her parents home a few weeks ago! There were just so many amazing details with all of gorgeous flower arrangements, incredible food, and even a photobooth and corn hole games for all of the guests to enjoy! Now even with a rainy day, Kathryn had a permanent smile on her face all day long. Right before the ceremony  the rain clouds held off and they were able to have their wedding outside as planned under the oak trees right by the riverfront. It couldn’t have been timed any better than that. 🙂 Congratulations to the both of you!

Some of the great vendors who helped out with this wedding:

Wedding Coordinator – Denise Barto with All Occasions, Caterer – Jason Walker, Wedding Cake Design by Jim Smeal, Bartender – Vince Gilmore, Band – Coast Runner Band, Flowers by Terry Hawkins, Photobooth by Palmetto City Photobooth, Transportation provided by Lancaster Tours.

Jennifer and Greg were married a year ago, but during all of the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, never got a chance to do an “engagement” session before the ceremony. So since they live in Atlanta now, they decided to make the quick trip to Charleston and and celebrate their one year anniversary. I just happened to be lucky enough to get to do a photo session with them while they were here in town! They did a good job picking Charleston for a destination because it’s only the best city in the entire WORLD, according to Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. I am a little biased having grown up here. 🙂 We had great weather and fun time taking a quick tour of some favorite spots that I have here in Charleston. Congratulations on your one year anniversary and I hope that you have many, many more to come!

Well wind and rain from Hurricane Sandy couldn’t keep Patty and Mauricio down from having their beautiful wedding at the Old Exchange Building in downtown Charleston! During a break from the rain we even ran outside for some quick portraits at Waterfront park at the pineapple fountain and also in front of the building. This is one of the only places in Charleston that has an actual pirate dungeon that was used a very long time ago. Guests were able to take a tour and see how things looked back in the day. The ceremony was held in one of the historic rooms on the first floor and the reception was upstairs in the big ballroom area. Stormy weather or not, everyone had a great time dancing and celebrating the marriage of Patty and Mauricio! Congratulations to the both of you!

My good friends over at Ashley Bakery created this gorgeous cake for the couple. Hayden always does such a great job on these designs. Just look at those edible flowers on top! You might go into sugar overload if you ate a whole one, but it sure would be good!
