Patty & Mauricio’s Wedding at the Old Exchange Building – Charleston, SC

Well wind and rain from Hurricane Sandy couldn’t keep Patty and Mauricio down from having their beautiful wedding at the Old Exchange Building in downtown Charleston! During a break from the rain we even ran outside for some quick portraits at Waterfront park at the pineapple fountain and also in front of the building. This is one of the only places in Charleston that has an actual pirate dungeon that was used a very long time ago. Guests were able to take a tour and see how things looked back in the day. The ceremony was held in one of the historic rooms on the first floor and the reception was upstairs in the big ballroom area. Stormy weather or not, everyone had a great time dancing and celebrating the marriage of Patty and Mauricio! Congratulations to the both of you!

My good friends over at Ashley Bakery created this gorgeous cake for the couple. Hayden always does such a great job on these designs. Just look at those edible flowers on top! You might go into sugar overload if you ate a whole one, but it sure would be good!
