My friends for many years, Gordon and Sue, finally tied the knot earlier this month with their wedding ceremony at their home over looking the Stono River on John’s Island. It was a beautiful ceremony out on their back deck under the oak trees and spanish moss. The sun set right across the river just as the grammy award winning Delbert McClinton Band started up and rocked the whole neighborhood! What a special treat that was! Here’s a few images from their big day! Congrats to the both of you!

Of course I couldn’t forget a few blog images of Gordon and Sue’s favorite singer, Delbert McClinton!

This was a pic of Delbert McClinton that Gordon sent to me when Delbert had THE Beatles open up for him! ha! How many people can say that about their band, eh?? ha! 🙂 (Delbert is in the middle)

So as I was wrapping up later that night, the kids all wanted to get in a shot and do something. So I told them, “let’s write a note to Gordon & Sue using a long exposure technique“. So what we got was “bride” & “groom” using some glow sticks that they were playing with.

Just a few weeks ago I got to photograph a beautiful wedding out at the Daniels Island Clubhouse where Ebbie and Sammy were married. We were a little worried about a rain shower popping up, but the clouds started to clear up right before the ceremony and it turned out to be really great. The cloud cover made it nice and cool for all of the family and friends that attended. Now I’ve had some grooms in the past give their “future bride to be” some nice gifts before the ceremony, but Sammy got major “points” for scoring some incredible Christin Louboutin shoes for Ebbie. Having shot so many weddings and knowing a thing or two about women’s shoes, as soon as I saw those red soles, I knew these were going to be special. Wow! A funny event during the ceremony was when the little boy who carried out the broom for the bride and groom to jump over after being married, kept trying to pick it up before they jumped over it. I had to include on of those “action” shots in some of the images below. Too funny! I also have to thank my good friend Joey Grob for helping me out with this wedding.

Congratulations again Ebbie and Sammy and I hope that you had a wonderful time in Europe for your honeymoon!
