Recently my friend Allison Long opened up her new location of Bella Bridesmaids in downtown Charleston at 43 1/2 John Street. It’s such a great new place that she has and I send a lot of my brides over to her when they are trying to find the best looking bridesmaids dresses in town! She also has jewelery that you can select right there in her store. Last week we were dodging rain showers all over the lowcountry, but Mike was determined that his surprise proposal plans at Seaside Farms Plantation were going to happen for his girlfriend, Kara. She originally thought that he was at work and that she and her parents were just touring around some places in Mt. Pleasant. Needless to say Mike had planned for both his parents and Kara’s parents to be there for the big surprise! I think she knew something was up when she first saw Mike, but it didn’t really sink in until that shiny new ring popped out as Mike went down on one knee. He totally got her by surprise! Congratulations to the both of you! I’m so glad that I was able to be a part in this very special day for the two of you! 😉
