Summertime in the lowcountry usually means beautiful sunsets over the marsh grass and what better place to see that than at The Links at Stono Ferry Golf Club over looking the Stono river. The late afternoon rain clouds were trying to creep in on us like usual in August, but it held off and we had a great shoot with Erica and Brad. Now since Erica is the director of sales, club membership, and event coordinator at Stono Ferry Golf Club, who better to take out on the course than her for all of the great locations that she knows about around there. I explained to her fiance, Brad, that it was going to be a really easy shoot for him. All he had to do was hug and kiss on his beautiful fiance for most of the photo shoot. He didn’t seem to have any problems with that whatsoever! ha! 😉 Congratulations to the both of you!

Recently my friend Allison Long opened up her new location of Bella Bridesmaids in downtown Charleston at 43 1/2 John Street. It’s such a great new place that she has and I send a lot of my brides over to her when they are trying to find the best looking bridesmaids dresses in town! She also has jewelery that you can select right there in her store. These particular jewelry items were created by Stella & Dot.  If you are in the market for some beautiful dresses or know someone who is, send them over to Allison. She’ll take great care of them! Congrats on the new store front and soon to be “new mommy”! 😉

Last week we were dodging rain showers all over the lowcountry, but Mike was determined that his surprise proposal plans at Seaside Farms Plantation were going to happen for his girlfriend, Kara. She originally thought that he was at work and that she and her parents were just touring around some places in Mt. Pleasant. Needless to say Mike had planned for both his parents and Kara’s parents to be there for the big surprise! I think she knew something was up when she first saw Mike, but it didn’t really sink in until that shiny new ring popped out as Mike went down on one knee. He totally got her by surprise! Congratulations to the both of you! I’m so glad that I was able to be a part in this very special day for the two of you! 😉
